In the morning, the scent of fresh sourdough and pastries wafts through the guesthouse. Breakfast is from 9am to 11am, but coffee is always ready for early birds. Every item is made in-house, and each day you will taste something different, both sweet and savory. We offer coffee, cappuccino, tea, hot water with ginger, freshly squeezed citrus juices, and both hot and cold milk. There are always two sweet choices (cakes, pastries, croissants, muffins, plumcakes, danishes, and others) and two savoury choices (focaccia, muffins, quiche, Valdostana, flans, tarts, and others). We also have yogurts, various cereals, fresh berries, seasonal fruit, and homemade muesli. Breakfast is not complete without a variety of cheese, charcuterie, and smoked salmon, and eggs are made to order. All of our seasonal fruit and other ingredients are bought at the local markets from local producers.
Three nights per week, dinner is prepared on the property. If you wish to take lunch or dinner at the Locanda outside of these special evenings, simply let us know at breakfast and we will prepare a plate of cheese and charcuterie for dinner and salad or pasta for lunch.

Evenings with the chef

Gian Luca, our Executive Chef, comes to us after many years at a Michelin restaurant, seeking a convivial atmosphere in which to skillfully recreate traditional dishes with contemporary flair. Many of his recipes that he prepares at the Locanda can be found in his cookbook, ‘All’Osteria della Clara,’ which you can purchase on the property.
On Wednesday and Saturday evenings, the open kitchen becomes a convivial atmosphere in the company of Gian Luca. Join the chef in the kitchen as he prepares creative dishes based on traditional recipes of the province of the Versilia. With his expert technique and dedication to the highest quality ingredients, Gian Luca creates plates for the refined palate.
On Monday evenings, the kitchen becomes an ‘Osteria,’ and typical Tuscan dishes are prepared, such as soups, various bruschetta, and authentic recipes.
On warm evenings, enjoy dinner on our panoramic terrace.

Cooking lessons

Chef Gian Luca is ready to reveal the secrets of his art in an authentic cookery course. You will prepare an excellent 3 course dinner inclusive of homemade bread. Cooking lessons take place on Tuesdays at 4pm by prior booking.
